On behalf of the Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine, we mourn the loss of Bishop George Murry, S.J., Bishop of the Diocese of Youngstown. Our response is, “Well done good and faith-filled servant.”
We are so grateful for his care for the Sisters of Charity ministries, his support of religious women, the pastoral approach with which he led the Church of Youngstown, and his fervor for the Gospel. God has now called him home.
