CSA was elated to finally welcome Debby Brilla, Christine Horne, and Janice Murphy as Associates during a virtual Acceptance Ceremony on Sunday, March 28th, 2021.
These women have been waiting almost a year for their installation. Their original welcome date was April 26, 2020–but the pandemic necessitated its postponement. During the uncertainty of covid-19 and the long months of waiting, all three women demonstrated tremendous kindness, patience, and grace. CSA could not be happier to finally celebrate them.

Debby Brilla was introduced to CSA when her cousin, Kathleen Ernette, arrived from South Carolina to at-tend the Jan Phillips retreat. Debby attended the Friday night session and contacted us shortly after to find the “more.” Debby has attended all sessions, has participated in multiple events and even baked cookies with her granddaughter and attended the work session for the CNCM (Collinwood Neighborhood Catholic Ministries) Christmas party for the neighborhood children. Debby will continue to be a huge asset and blessing to CSA!
Christine Horne has been on her journey with CSA for quite some time. Christine was the director of Joseph’s Home for several years and at the same time was growing a friendship with former director, Sr. Joan Gallagher–both relationships encouraged Christine to inquire about CSA Associate membership. We are truly blessed to have her aboard and sharing her gifts with us. Christine’s current ministry is working at Catholic Charities. Christine brings a quiet, loving spirit of contemplation.
Janice Murphy has been connected to CSA for several years through her relationship with the CSA Health System. Jan contributed in service roles for years and has just been named President of St. Vincent Charity Medical Center. Jan is a huge bundle of positive energy and will continue to share her gifts with us through ministry and tremendous prayer support.
CSA is truly blessed… We pray for all of you and hope that God continues to guide our minds and our hearts in love for Him and in service to each other
