Collections of the 19th and 20th century records include photographs and various newspaper clippings, board of trustee minutes, handwritten ledgers, and other printed material pertaining to hospitals, orphanages, and schools started and served by the sisters. St. Vincent's Orphanage, Parmadale, St. Vincent Charity Hospital, St. John Hospital, St. John Hospital School of Nursing, DePaul Infant Home, St. Ann Hospital in Cleveland are among the institutions included. In addition there is material related to Mercy Hospital, Canton, Ohio; Providence Hospital, Columbia, South Carolina, and other ministries of the sisters. No medical, birth, or baptismal records are in these collections. Special collections include that of Sr. M. Ignatia Gavin, 1889-1966, who worked with the founders of Alcoholics Anonymous and of Sr. M. Henrietta Gorris, 1902-1983, who was best known for her work in the Hough area in Cleveland, following the riots in 1966. The "Heritage" room with a self-guided tour booklet contains artifacts pertaining to the sisters and their many ministries.
